The Decarbonised Gas Alliance (DGA)

The DGA represents over 30 expert organisations who have come together to help decarbonise the gas system and meet the UK’s target of net zero climate emissions. 

The DGA members were incredibly impressed with the success of the roadshow, and many are still getting follow-up media and B2B enquiries months after the roadshow concluded. We were blown away by the spike in web and social traffic during the campaign, and such was the level of engagement, that we are hoping to work with Scriba to deliver two more, in the year ahead.

Project Overview

We shaped the narrative as leaders from some of the country’s most pioneering organisations joined forces to explore the role of hydrogen in decarbonising the country’s industry, transport, and domestic heating sectors, as part of a two-week national roadshow.

Project Details

With less than a month to prepare, the Scriba team ‘learnt as we went’ once appointed as the ‘bolt-on’ press office for the 10-stop tour – which targeted an incredibly niche audience. 

We were tasked with demonstrating value for participants by raising awareness of the progress being made in this space, while providing a forum for debate, networking, and opportunity exploration – as well as bringing key stakeholders together under one roof.

Alongside the management of a launch event in London, we took care of all media relations, social media management, launch event support, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the message was heard by the local community, regional industry, key media, and political stakeholders.
