Axiologik announces Opening Beats fundraiser at Leeds Digital Festival 2023
Opening Beats aims to celebrate the synergy between technology, digital innovation, and community support. This event, to be held at the local hotspot – The Backroom Leeds – is led by Axiologik’s Rachel Mcelroy and Rae Evans, Leeds Community Foundation’s chairman Cleveland Henry, Leed City Council’s Martyn Long, and Matt Ward head of Leeds at xDesign. Their vision is to unite the tech and digital community through the universal language of music, all while contributing to the wellbeing of the local community.
CEO of Leeds Community Foundation, Kate Hainsworth commented saying, “We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and creativity shown by Axiologik, Xdesign and our own Chair, Cleveland Henry in organising this DJ event in support of the Leeds Community Foundation's Leeds Fund.”
“Their commitment to making a positive impact in our community is truly inspiring. This collaboration exemplifies the power of collective efforts and the wonderful outcomes that can be achieved when we come together for a common cause. Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who will be part of this unforgettable night of music and philanthropy."
The event will be powered by the collective efforts of key sponsors, Axiologik and xDesign, who share a passion for fostering positive change. With two DJs gracing the stage, Cleveland Henry and Martyn Long, attendees are guaranteed an unforgettable night of beats and melodies, all for a worthy cause.
"In a world driven by technology, it's imperative to remember the impact we can have on our local communities," said Rachel Mcelroy, head of marketing at Axiologik. "With Opening Beats, we are not only setting the stage for a great music experience but also creating an opportunity to support Leeds Community Foundation's impactful initiatives."
Martyn Long, head of employment and skills at Leeds City Council, added "We’ve had this idea for quite a while, and it's finally been brought to life. It's a tough time right now for many; the money raised will make a huge difference to the local people. We have such a thriving digital community that love to come together; why not do that over some great music whilst helping our community."
In addition to Opening Beats, Axiologik is excited to host insightful events during the Leeds Digital Festival.
