Hot off the press in quarter four

Mention the year ‘2022’ and you’ll no sooner catch an utterance of words like ‘uncertain’, ‘challenging’, and ‘turbulent’. While these are true, it’s important to remember that it’s been a time of great opportunity, collaboration, and innovation too. Understanding how important it is to stop and smell the roses every once in a while, we’re bringing in some of our favourite highlights from the last quarter. If you’re keen to feel uplifted with us, you’re in the right place…

Scriba PR donates £8,000 to Grimm & Co

Investing in ‘wordsmiths of the future’ with a handsome £8,000 fund, Scriba’s recent donation to Grimm & Co represents a profoundly important investment in the literacy skills of under-resourced children and young people in the local area.

Bolstering generous additions from Scriba colleagues, clients, and friends of the business equalling £1,000, founder and MD Katie Mallinson ‘topped up’ the total to enable the creation of a magical storytelling space, among other developments. We look forward to seeing them come to life next year!

Residential estate and lettings agency, Applegate Properties, secured four coveted accolades at the industry-renowned The Negotiator Awards ceremony last month – including three business titles and a notable mention for company manager, Grace Noke.

Grant Leonard, director of The Negotiator Awards, said: “Applegate Properties is the stand-out success of this year’s programme. The organisers and judges are delighted, particularly, to be able to recognise, highlight and celebrate the achievement of women in our industry, and this is some achievement. Amy and the team (including Paul!) and this year’s Rising Star Bronze winner, Grace Noke, are setting the standards for the whole of estate agency. Congratulations!”

An esteemed title for Let's Run Marketing

We certainly haven’t skimped on award celebrations for our clients this quarter, as the social media advertising experts at Let’s Run Marketing also scooped a win – taking home the title of ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ at the Construction Marketing Awards.

The recognition came as a result of the firm’s Facebook campaign with CB Heat Pumps, in which the team delivered over £1 million in revenue in just 72 hours, and with just £10k in media spend. It was excellent to not only deliver on our client’s brief to win a trophy before the year was out, but to do it with less than a day’s retainer per month too. Proof that small can be mighty!
